After bonding the caplin hook to an impacted tooth, attach an elastic thread to the end of the gold chain. Movement of the tooth is measured by counting the links of the chain as they become exposed. The low profile and positioning of the caplin hook minimises irritation and the patented SuperMesh base ensures reliable bonding.

24k Plated Gold Eyelet & Traction Chain
Bondable to cuspids impacted palatally or labially. The 1" traction chain swings freely within the eyelet. The small .016" diameter and large .022" diameter chain links can be cut easily. The chain can be tied to the archwire with elastic thread or tubing to provide traction in the desired direction.
